Well I was hoping to finish the edging off today but rain stopped play, having to spend my time roasting pork and drinking red wine instead. Bummer

Looks good. What made you decide on this oil finish for the speakers... as opposed to another, french polish, or PU?

Also I have done before so didn't need to learn to FP or use PU. I think its a bit more forgiving if you make a mistake but might be wromh there. |

They look proper old school Thanks, a bit ironic really as I had intended a more modern look originally with an ebony veneer ,but I couldn't get what I wanted so went to teak. Very pleased with how they are looking though as it has darkened up nicely . 1 more coat of oil and some Bison wax should do it. |
