Quite common when people aren't sure what they bought, or they can't fetch it. Happened to me also.
Looks a tidy unit TBF

You're becoming obsessed with this alps blue Oli. What do you mean "becoming"? I have equipment with them in that sounds fine to me. That's not to say that there may not be better options though.

Yes, quite right. I have been obsessed since I removed one for a Stepped Attenuator and have since been left horrified by the amount of "hi-end" gear with them in. Ok, as far as being the right part for the job "attenuation" yes, they do it and they do a good job of channel matching etc, but there is a far better way and a way that doesn't bottleneck the sound. May not be night and day on some gear, but on others it was a WOW moment.

I'm sure they're fine Geoff, it's just Oli. I'd love you to hear what I did and have on multiple occasions. Okay, the Khozmo 64 step jobbie I have now is about 50x more expensive but I wouldn't be without it.

You need to be at a certain level of transparency with the supporting kit, but when you are the shortcomings of the Alps Blue are quite apparent.
It is expensive to better it but with quality kit it is definitely worth it.

It must have been obvious because you splashed out pretty much same day lol That's only happened on three occasions in the 4 years I've known you lol

I sold an item on xmas eve and this morning on boxing day I got a message from the buyer demanding that I post it. I had to remind this Sh#t-for-brains that there are NO postal or courier services actually working over the xmas period. What an asshole.

Agreed, a serious annoyance and irritation when you pay for what you think will be the EX/NM/MINT as listed, only for the complete opposite to turn up - An absolute pain and insult ! I dont hold back and let them know why what they've sent me is absolutely not what they say it is and that it will be in the post back to them, for a full refund, including the cost of return postage. Never had my demand/request not fulfilled

I want a ramp for my mobility scooter and have been looking on ebay for ages.
This week I saw a listing for a 6 footer in Nottingham with no bids on a 99p start. But it was "collection only" as usual so I ask if I can arrange a courier collection.
The reply I get back is "Sorry, but I have no packaging materials at all", so I replied don't I want it wrapped as they are more than robust enough to travel without, some some tape or string to stop it unfolding during transit would be advisable. Just a minute before the auction ends I get another message saying "collection only" so I can't bid on it.
Can someone explain to me what the difference is between me arriving on her doorstep and a courier, because either way she didn't have to lift a finger for posting as even the label goes with the Parcelforce or DX driver to stick on it.
I did remind the lazy useless cow that there was a lockdown in force and in truth NOBODY should be collecting anything in person. Be ironic that the winner of the auction gives her the Coro when collecting it.

When you do get a ramp how many buses are you planning to jump?

Collection only severely limits bids, so can expect a reduced price.

Ebayer's by their very nature should be whipped to a slow coma with a slightly salted gingerly moist slug tied to a PMC fact 12 with a pink ribbon

When you do get a ramp how many buses are you planning to jump? Buses Martin? Nope, no chance at 8mph top speed.
The ramp is to get the scooter into the back of my car so going to the supermarket is less of a trial. Today I had to stand for nearly an hour waiting in a queue waiting to get in, although they were offering cups of water. I said if it's Vodka then bring it on, so the whole queue burst out laughing. Not much glee otherwise, although the girl in front of me had a very tasty arse to gawp at
