As long as it turns up in one piece. Pick up only for me you can judge the seller while yer at it.

I once won a pair of Mordaunt Short Pageant 2 for £2.70. The cabs were slightly tatty. But the drive units were mint!

But surely there comes a point where you say 'That's it. I've got enough stuff. Now I can just listen to music'?

It's not an illness. An illness is cancer. Or a bad cold. This is a hobby, and a man should have a hobby.

I’ll second that, I just like playing with the stuff and also admiring the build and design. I also like getting bargains, Oh, and I love restoring unloved kit.

Most men follow some sort of sport. I'd class that as a hobby - or an interest.

It’s also,a hobby that rewards knowledge. I’ve got the best sounding system I’ve ever heard and because of buying bargains it’s cost me nothing.

Goldmund RCA interconnects - 250 euro new from manufacture - 1168.00 Quid on ebay. Clown says they are designed for a Western Electric Amplifier.
Let us not even go into the silly prices they ask for Western Electric stuff on ebay.
Jensen PA speaker x1 - 5,850 Quid.

I bid on a gold bracelet today and here is this numptys description: Yellow gold metal bracelet not tested or checked however does definitely look like gold but can’t confirm as have not tested it.
He listed it a few days ago and the bidding rocketed up to £11.00 so he ended the auction early, then relisted it again immediately. For the last 4 days it has sat at £7.50 so I bid £35.01 and won the auction. Obviously this wasn't enough for numbnuts so he has cancelled the sale. The feckin refund is going to take over a week to clear FFS, yet the money got sucked out of my account immediately. Ebay is really getting on my tits right now
It's not my fault he didn't put a sensible starting price or a reserve on if he thought it was real gold, or better still had it tested. Twat.
