Throw some corners in, and the amount of rubber contact and downforce will leave the bike wondering which way the car went. Just bear in mind that the F1 steering wheel probably cost more than the bike. ofc. u need to be in full control when riding a bike.. you ever raced a bike in ya car then.. i tried to race a cbr600r in me camaro..left me for dead. Racing is an activity best kept for the track. I am. It stupid enough to take a 1000cc bike on. They are quick. Probably too quick for road use. I already feel my car is pretty pointless for road use with an 80km/h speed limit on the interesting bits. I can go faster than that in 1st gear.

Tesla Model S PLM did 0-60 in 2.4 seconds, not many bikes faster than that are there? I've driven one of them.

Any chance you’ll buy shares again? It was fun following your ups and downs with them and you seemed to do pretty well out of them. Banks give you F#ck all these days.

I’m not worried about the indigenous population as long as I get properly looked after. Love the Caribbean & you can get a good deal on watches there to 😉

In a flat? Balls to that, you want somewhere that's 5 stars with waitress service on the beach. And no frigging buffets. I hate buffets.

That's when I want to be waited on hand and foot the most, not have to get my own. I can do that at home! Had to put up with it in Antigua though because I couldn't afford to go better than three star there. As regards the Caribbean, St Kitts is the one to go to. 5 star Marriot resort, dirt cheap out of season, tip well, have a laugh with them and they treat you like royalty. But it is an extra hour on the plane.

At least you don't have to cook it though, I just love unlimited bacon, if they serve you you'll only get a normal portion &, as you know Martin, I'm a big eater.

I don't cook it when I'm at home either! There's an oatcake shop just round the corner. About the same distance you have to walk from your hotel room to the buffet.
They're taking the piss with the whole buffet thing if you ask me. The only time a buffet is acceptable is if it's free.
24 hour room service is another requirement. If a hotel doesn't do that it isn't worth staying at. Even if you never plan to use it.

It's a bit like Michael Winner's old column this, isn't it? I'll be complaining about the quality of the cutlery on Concorde next.

Have been occasions where breakfast has been via waiter service & one time you could specify how many of each element of the full english you wanted. I didn't feel comfortable, when asked how many rashers of bacon would you like, saying '27'. Plus they never serve wine with breakfast, what's that all about?

In Aruba last year we had about a dozen different dining options between 2 centres which you could travel between via golf carts, we almost never ate in the same place twice (we were there 2 weeks). For our 'tour' of the US (NY & Vegas) we went self catering as there are so many options over there, just a different vibe. We had a package at Caesars Palace for a 3 course Italian meal followed by Rod Stewart in concert, not cheap but the food was amazing & Rod was the consummate performer, experience of a lifetime I'd say.

Caesar's Palace was always my favourite place for breakfast. Proper table service and the food is top drawer. Couldn't afford to stay there as well though! On Sundays they have a bloke there playing Frank Sinatra's piano while you eat. Or they used to, anyway.

There were some great restaurants there, 'America' did a cracking eggs benedict (see what I did there?) & the irish pub did great guiness & proper corned beef & potatoes. Must get back there, would love to stay at the Venetian.

Our priorities differ Mr H. I have everything I need (possibly too much in certain areas..) & I've been drawing the pension I paid in for for 5 years now. We don't have too lavish a lifestyle but eat out at least 3 times a week. After my fairly meagre grocery bill & all the usual outgoings I've still got a fair chunk of cash (with plenty of dough in the bank to fall back on) & I'd really like to see as much of the world as possible before I get too old/ill. (not talking Bear Gryls adventures up the Amazon or some such Sh#t, luxury restful stuff, I've had 2 opportunities to go to Florida & the parks this year but that's just not my idea of a holiday). My lady friend has her own private income & we generally go halves on everything but I like to treat her, let's just say she has some really nice jewellery & a very decent watch. Even if you were on a budget all inclusive is the way to go, when you add up all you'd spend on meals out wherever you go it's a no brainer.

wow listen to this then. i am in shock. ok we buy EVERYTHING with a credit card each month..i have never used a debit card and never will. ofc we pay it off every month..normally about 2.5k a month every year we get some complicated letter about the card..neither me or the wife have a clue what it's about..well this year i see a figure of 30 000kr about 3 grand. banks just up the road .weathers nice so i popped up there on me bike. turns out it's the bonus we get every year on the card..every year since we've had the card we have a yearly bonus for paying it off every month..seems the last 13 years the money gets put into funds. well she said if u cash that money now you will get 3 grand. so yep i cashed em in..3 grand just gone into our account for as far as i can see NOTHING . true what they say..once u get rich it just grows..fekin insane aye
