one other thing you can import a supercharger from the states for about 10 grand..5 grand to fit it..up to 700 bhp then..no car on earth sounds as good as a supercharged yank v8 6.3 litre Mercedes AMG V8 sounds pretty awesome to my ears. I also like Ferrari V12s and the noise from a straight 6, like the noise made by my old TVR Tamara with the TVR power exhaust fitted. But none of these have antiquated push rods.

And a high performance engine is not the right application.
Edited to add that high RPM is not a good idea in a push rod engine. This is where the OHC comes in, as there is less inertia in the valve train.

This is where the OHC comes in, as there is less inertia in the valve train. Pushrods are used in the most powerful racing engines of all. Top fuel dragsters, offering up to 10,000 bhp and they don't exactly rev low either. Yes, I know about the moving mass bit.

pushrod motors are dead easy to work on and repair..the ls3 motor is one of the most reliable best motors ever created. the gen 6 camaro uses the same motor used in the corvette.. overhead cams and vvt is all ok untill it goes wrong. plus the camaro motor uses just one small easy to access camchain.. nothing wrong with old technology..in fact the opposite. i owned a 2016 mustang with the 5.0 coyote 4 valve vvt motor..pos of a motor..no torque

The Camaro may have incredible tôt que, but it’s road manners are not what I am after. My little toy car (which is what the Camaro would become) does 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds. It also handles better and retains it’s value just as well. This gives me absolutely zero interest in a Camaro.
Where we do agree is the 911.

only 3.8 seconds? problem for me is i have had superbikes most of me life and no car ever feels fast to me..once you've riden and owned a 200 bhp bike cars feel like mopeds.
the camaro is a gt car..and boy they do that well. when you're sitting in one it feel like your sitting in a fighter plane due to the tiny windows.

Yep, only 3.8 but it is still quicker than the Camaro you posted about in this thread.

210 BHP, 510kg. Modified to include inboard front shock absorbers to overcome the ridiculously small damper travel with a standard set up.

2020 bmw s1000rr makes 210 whp and weighs 168 kilos lol..utterly fekin insane

no ofc not..downforce is the let down with bikes.. with a good rider bikes aint so far behind.. thing is you can buy a new bmw 1000rr right now for 25k and almost nothing on the road stands a chance. ok some super built cars may..those cars are few and far between coz they are being rebuilt more than driven. even a veyron stands no chance against a superbike..ok top speed but over 200mph on the roads is downright silly. all my years of superbike riding i have never had a car beat me.. my mate back in 2000 had a special built cosworth escort with 600 bhp..i offered me a race on my gsxr1000...i ofc destroyed him effortlessly. dont mess with a liter bike unless you have a real special car

that is the h2r with 300 bhp
there are many h2's in yank land with 400 bhp with a few mods.
you'll never get to go in or ever own a car that will beat that bike..

Throw some corners in, and the amount of rubber contact and downforce will leave the bike wondering which way the car went. Just bear in mind that the F1 steering wheel probably cost more than the bike.

u can argue all day about this. i love cars and i love bikes i have driven ferraris lamorghinis porsches.they all feel worthless to me i tell you now straight as a die..on the road you will never beat a 1000cc bike in a car under 1000 bhp..impossible..
right i have places to go..grown men arguing about cars vs bikes lol..dont you love it..most that argue cars are quicker have normally never even riden a 125 let alone a 1 litre..take ya test and go test ride one..you'll see why you cant compare a car to one of these rocket ships on wheels.
ok catch ya all maybe later tonight or tomorrow 4am
