He’s funny! One thing I don’t agree with is his assertion that one speaker cable is pretty much the same as another. I’ve heard bigger differences with speaker cables than amps in some circumstances.

I've been following him for 2 years now. I like his content. He may sound stupid, but he's quite clever. His lack of thrills and no nonsense appeals to me.

IMO many times I’ve had two examples of the same amp at home and even they haven’t sounded the same. Anyone who thinks all amps sound the same must hear the world very differently to me. |

Except when the brand was owned by Alpine they made some real crap then. Fortunately now they are back to their original quality. Now owned by IAG as is Wharfedale, Mission, Quad, Castle, audiolab and EKCO. Taiwanese company. I like the look of this.  |

Don't think I've ever heard an Accuphase amp but the Luxmans I've heard were all pretty good to excellent. New and old.

Ive had one Accuphase amp 'E202' sold it for about £50 i think it was, a time when things were worth bugger all on the used market. Major regret looking back..
