Always better to have several carts, this is my set-up, I listen for a couple of hours each weekend on the high-end carts and then the cheaper carts get used rest of the week. You might get 1200 hours out of a Cadenza Black - FGS with careful usage, cleaning your records, it is possible to tweak the loading of the CB-FGS to get an extra 200 hours when the 1000 hours usage milestone arrives. So far me, I listen 2-4 hours most weekends, so that's say an average of 3 hours weekly, which is roughly 160 hours-ish a year, so I should be good for 1200 / 160 = 7.5 years.

Kilians info to me was a lot more than 1200, in fact double that he said, which he'd known of with the FGS, obviously subject to condition of vinyl he said. Either way, you are right, the point being it's a good thing to have the option to rotate, however you choose to do it.
