Hades and Zeus - 8 week old kittens. Why did I say yes?? If they get hold of your speakers you'll be calling them different names no doubt! Very cute , love cats me.

They are mental and when awake nothing is safe hence the cardboard so won't be doing any listening to music for a few weeks. Trying to get our other cat used to them, will take time (I hope)

A pic of the 2 kittens. The one asleep (Zeus) has been ill for 2 weeks now and the vets have no idea what it is (they suspect it is feline coronavirus but waiting on the final blood results to come back) He has been through the wars the last 2 weeks with loads of examinations, x-rays, ultrasound etc - missing loads of fur. Last few days he has seemed a little bit more alert but still has a high temperature and sleeping all the time (apart from eating and shitting )

Very sad day as decided to put Hades down due to his feline coronavirus and him not getting any better (2 weeks later and still a high temperature and losing weight) The picture below was taken just before we took him to the vets - he is the kitten on the left:

Thanks guys - yes, he seems OK. No signs of the virus. Curled up on my wife's lap.

We are OK - my wife today had to go out so before she did he was allowed upstairs with her so he wouldn't be alone - he loved it. He is now fast asleep in my sons bedroom (attic) under his bed

I have bought a 12 inch wooden tonearm and I have to create a pod for it and find some RCA connectors for it, then this will be put to use on the Lenco. If I get time over the Christmas break I will attempt to make one.
Arm was cheap so nothing to loose.

Now this should be interesting. I've seen a few wooden tonearms in the past although never actually heard one.

Yesterday spent an hour in the garage knocking up a plywood holder for the arm and a perspex holder for the connectors (both scraps) Using my 3d printer created a tube and base so that it can be at the right height for the Lenco. OK, the tube and base were part of a 3d printed vice so the cylinder has a thread on it so I can use this to alter the height in small increments A few pictures of the end result sans cartridge. I started to mount the cart (a A&R P77) but can only find 1 2.5mm bolt long enough (have loads of them but too short) so will have to source some and will be unable to try it out yet Cheers
