yep any height you like,although there's a far bit of adjustment with the spikes,at least 40mm.

to see if the newplast damping is doing anything adverse i've knocked up a crude plinth in just panzerholz to compare.  What's the outcome? Any early indication? yes!
 with the new plinth made and the new cadenza bronze run in it was time to see. well unfortunately i can confirm there is no huge difference between the 2,there is a difference though and personally i prefer the sound of just the panzerholz one. what the difference is is hard for me to describe its like the difference between a nearly right set up cartridge to one thats dead on. just a better presented overall sound i suppose. one thing that i have noticed is if i place the cartridge on a record with out the platter spinning and tap the plinth,the noise picked up from the cartridge is less apparent and decays quicker on the bear panzerholz plinth. now i've got a lovely job removing all the plasticine! :lol: who'd of thunk it! |

Yes, who'd have thunk it. Sorry all that hard work in getting the plasticine just right, was a waste of time and now the terrible job of removing it all, I feel for you.
