Nope not a Tesla as didn't fancy one of them (plus I had to agree with the wife what it could be off of the list)
Gone for a BMW i4. The experience from the seat is similar to petrol based BMW's so should be fun and practical as it's a hatch.

Today i have been really busy, as i was yesterday too...but it's been a bit of a mixed bag fortune wise.
The BBU build i am trying to get off the desk is nearly done, but i now have a pair of multifets to make and send to Canada and also have a cable from a PFM member that has asked for some assistance in repairing before i can get to the Purifi build. Also, I bought some new cushions for the IKEA POANG chairs that i use in the listening room....or so i thought. What arrived are only covers for the existing ones, so they will be going back.
In other news, my new (to me) car (2017 Volvo V40 R Design) was due today, until they decided they wanted to fit a brand new clutch. Whilst its a pain in one respect, you really can't fault Volvo for their attention to detail or desire to deliver a car in top condition, but the fact i sold my Merc yesterday is now biting me on the arse. I felt quite sad letting the old boy go, but as i will be driving to Birmingham frequently i needed a more eco friendly car for the clean air Zone. Expensive to drive through daily, but not much less expensive to change the car. Rock and hard place. TBF, the Merc was trying to kill me as it was blowing exhaust fumes into the car lol
However, in good news, after my recent dalliance with a ASUS Vivobook, I have decided life is too short to wait for 10 minutes before it does anything i asked it to, so i have given it to the nipper (who is buzzing lol) and bought a Samsung Book3. I am using it now and it's really impressive so far. Hopefully it lasts some time.

I've found ASUS ok, but you can always get a bad one It was my mom's, who bout it in Feb 2023. Ah didn't say it was rubbish from the off, nor that it wouldn't even switch on...which meant I didn't find out until November. I sent it back, which they fixed. It went back as it was really slow....it's now better, but my old laptop was lightening in comparison. I bought it off her as I recommended ASUS and vowed to fix it...I didn't 😂
