Went to our favourite record shop. That's my daft missus trying to hold the owner up with her imaginary Colt 45. I know . But she is 60. .
"Why , oh Engypoos is it your favourite rekkid shop ?" I hear you ask. . .one reason oh my brothers.

Spent the morning watching porn in bed with a couple of frisky young blondes, then took the Bentley down to the yacht club for lunch. Would have used the Roller, but the butler's lad was still polishing it.

Gave the house a good vacuum and did some online grocery shopping. Living the dream. I've done jack Sh#t. Went down the chippy earlier. That's it. That record shop looks vaguely familiar.

Colne. . F#ck that online shopping. Last time I got about 5 items I picked and 60 substitutes. Plus it took me about 2 hours. I takes me about 15 minutes to blast round Sainsbury's. ( add an hour at the till queue I suppose. )

Spent about 3 hours looking for some Allen bolts I recently mislaid. Bought some replacements online then spent another hour searching again. Bought another Nait, searched again, packed the headphone system away for good and went to bed.

Spent quite a while online looking for sensibly priced birch ply for the new speakers. No luck!
I'll get it from the Indian supplier round the corner. They'll be cheap and cut it to size free and do it well.

Today I watched the Aussies lose to Wales (on the tele) I might watch it again later because... why not? Watching Australia lose at anything is always worthwhile 🤣🤣🤣

I turned down the chance to go to a record fair in the village to watch the Aussies get beaten by Wales.

Today I’ve watched the rain just keep on coming. Nowt on telly, nowhere to go without getting soaked and not much else I fancy going. A duvet day if ever there was one.

Start out now, if you keep up a brisk pace you might get there before they pack up.

I think it's time to make some vibrations on the old fuzzy warble box. Y'know ... vibrations. What music is made of. As opposed to 1's and 0's imitating it.

You need to exclusively watch 1970s TV. Then you eventually forget that better production values ever happened.

Woke up early, did some much needed degree work and listened to some music. Then we got brutal with the books in preparation for a house move next year. Dropped them off at Oxfam then rifled their records - bought a few too.

28th was Friday. Let's see. Went for a walk with Mrs H, but the heavens opened so we cut it short. Did some grocery shopping. Went out for a drink in the evening with a bunch of PhD students to celebrate getting my PhD and say hello to the newbies. What I find now though is that I can barely hear what people are saying in pubs over the background noise, so I spent a lot of time cupping my ear and saying, 'Sorry, what was that?'
Saturday we actually managed to go for a walk without getting wet, then in the evening watched a Russian SF film called 'Stalker' (1979).
Yesterday was spent preparing the top room for redecoration. God, how I hate DIY. I don't mind painting, but the preparation part drives me mad, especially as we live in an old house with many many cracks and holes in the walls. Then listened to music in the evening as Mrs H was watching some shite on TV.
