Thanks guys for your condolences ..life is a bummer sometimes .almost a year of chemo ,and transplants and utter bravery with more biopsies than you have hands
Months of isolation and sacrifice and it ended yesterday .This lovely guy did have a few months out of hospital to enjoy life but it sure has put me off ever having chemo big time !!
Popped into the Cathedral which is lovely place of peace and quiet ,spent a long time there and lit a remembrance candle to a life snuffed out too soon
We were so priveliged to have this incredible chap in our lives

This evening I'm sat in front of the main rig and thinking YUK!!! I'm struggling to find any redeeming features in the sound. Yes its detailed, holographic, has tight impactful bass etc but its just dead, a wall of sound that doesn't engage me at all. The only reason I'm persevering is that my telly is plumbed into it and the MotoGP round up on ITV4 is on in 25 minutes, otherwise I would be in the other room with system 2 as I have been this, past week. System 2 is fast, more nuanced, more detailed with greater air and to my ears greater texture and better tonality. Barring cables, DAC & ZenITH I can see everything else being put up for sale (Bardo, 12"Enterprise, Lector, MFA Baby Ref, GamuT) and me starting again. I think I'm pretty much done with the neutral, clean, detailed, soulless sound that I've chased for the last 7 years . I want what system 2 gives me but more so, so after the Wam show I will start looking at kit that can achieve this, I've already organised to borrow a pair of AN-E LX, to see if they have what it takes on the end of the Puresound A30 or Cambridge amps.

Just listening to my system now and being fully 'moved' by what it is doing. Great SQ and involvement - currently using: Orbe (in standard guise) with SME-V and DL103M (tweaked) ==> BB3 ==> Audiolab 8000A ==> Reiver Jenna Speakers Brilliant

Today I had a visit from Richard, owner of SUPATRAC, and he's left me this to play with. Its his own 301 and his development SUPATRAC Blackbird with a loaner RigB 540ML (sounds superb for an mm). I will be taking this to the Wam show as a 2nd deck, and I must say I'm very impressed with this arm and its design (sideways uni-pivot). Its almost infinitely adjustable and the full production arm is really sleek looking, if I wasn't going in a different sonic direction I'd have one for the Bardo.

Anyone else having issues with Tapatalk? Mine won't login to AA for some reason, no issues with other forums. I've tried restating my phone and logging on again but no joy.

It's working on my iPad but not on Android phone, so it might be an Android issue with Tapatalk.

Not long back from the show, had to wait for my small trolley as others, were using +the big hotel trolley. Managed to remember how, it all went back in, journey back M1, M25, M3, M27, A27 a tad longer but better than Friday (6 hrs 40) going up via A34, A43, M1, only took 5 hrs on way back. All unloaded, and I'm knackered, but happy with the SQ of system and resultant comments, now chillin with choons and a brew, will try and sort it all out tomorrow cant be arsed tonight.

Β£180 in honesty thats not a bad price if the job was done right for the size I feel.
The properites we have not so far from you a deep clean is between Β£480-Β£800 which is always billed to the renters if they have left it out of sorts. Although the letting agents do inspect ever 4-6 weeks.
Renting isn't an easy game Phil totally understand that one!

Today I took 2hrs & 42 fooking minutes to do a 20 minute journey to Mums as, duty chef, all, because some brain dead penis decided it would be a good idea to cut of a main artery (one of only three) into Portsmouth (the A27/B3020 slip road). Top top it all some twat of a child driver rear ended me whilst I was stationary and shoved me into another vehicle within 3/4 oof a mile of journeys end. Finally got to Mums and start cooking at 19:05.

Yeah I'm okay, bit of mild tweakiness in neck (similar to sleeping wrong) but nowt major. Still able to chill with choons, change records and cook bacon sarnies, which is the important things taken care of.

Not least of which you probably do have minor whiplash and it can go on and on. Secondly, you really should claim for injuries. Iβm not saying this to encourage a claim, but as a defensive measure if you get a claim from the car that you were pushed into. Itβs happened to me.
