Last year our washing machine and fridge both packed in at the same time. This is when zero interest via AO is a blessing.. and finishes this month. I have to say that the new generation of washing machines are brilliant. The damned thing measures the weight of the load and puts the appropriate dose of liquid gloop in. Wizardry. We didn't go that fancy...it spins...that'll do 😂😂 |

The Chinese can even spy on what cycle we are on … I also discovered how AO can add to the profit margins.. when you come to actually place an order, you suddenly find that all the cheaper modestly priced kit ain’t available. Still.. at least it’ll sing a tune at the end of each wash. |

Today I got my new (to me) Camera Interesting move from a Sony Alpha? Yeah, it feels like a bigboy camera in all honesty. It's an old boy, an original 7D. 4000 shutter count, so it really is extremely tidy all over. £167 The real surprise is the kit lens. It's tack sharp...£62. Both from MPB. The photos I have gotten out of this today are possibly better quality than anything I've taken before, maybe the Samsung NX300 gets close. That was a good camera, but not a lot of quality glass available and the Canon has a far more appealing colour balance. The NX300 was a little pale IMO. Couldn't use it with bright sun. It just looked washed out. Had to use a PL filter and then it looked a little artificial, and no viewfinder either. The Canon is a real treat, I am extremely impressed. And what a bargain 😉 |

At a flyin, we'll that's a joke with the weather.
It's a real shame as it is a 40th anniversary of the Shadow microlight, a lot of work and planning has gone into the event.
There are a few stalwarts here, hopefully should get some aircraft on tomorrow.
It's raining at the moment so just having a tea/coffee in the van.

Today I had great delight in reading all the posts whinging about how a hifi show for once has come to Barnsley. It’s makes a change from not having to travel several hundred miles pay stupid prices for beer food and hotels. Just sayin…… que the backlash….
