Happy birthday, Rob.
I'm trying to figure out how old I feel - probably a mixture of 17,35 and 90. (I'm 66).
17 for my hifi enthusiasms. 35 in that I've got at least a bit of common sense these days. 90 in that, what with the state of the world, I'm a bit fed up with it and disenchanted!

met with electrical and mechanical engineer to plan electrical component of a reordering project . great fun lifting up grills to see 100 year old heating equipment and various other quirks in the building . taken 18 months of hard slog so far , now we are fund raising to make it happen

Read and weep, just finished Lincolnshire sausage sandwiches with poached eggs and grilled tomatoes.

Washed 2 cars then the motor bike. Raked the leafs off of the lawns. Cut some branches off of the tree that were overhanging the roof of the house. Cleared the gutters. Trimmed back some bushes. Made a weld repair on my sons gaming chair.
Drinking some limoncello then have some tea soon (salt and pepper chicken and fried rice - home madw)

So at the Scottish holiday cottage we are staying at they said put out an egg and cake (we didn’t have peanut butter) and you might tempt a Pine Martin. Well… hello Percy Pine Martin

Actually amazing as it was.. there were actually two!! One was much smaller and Fiona reckons they were a male and female. The visitor book in the cottage shows that they are quite frequent visitors. Nearest shop is several miles away, but we shall be picking up some peanut butter and jam tomorrow. It’s their fav !!

Bought myself a set of Townshend Seismic Bars from a lovely bloke on PFM.
Now have to do a little rearranging of my room to create a little more floor space by the speakers so that I can pop them in

The more I read up about them the more they made sense, so thought I should give them a go, and in the unlikely event that they don't work for me I could sell them on to someone else. Mind you, wrong way round really, I am really looking to different speakers!!

I may have to find higher rated bars or podiums for my Ektas. Have to see if they squash the ones I have now!! I’m sure your new ones will be very very good. Well worth it.
