Pleased your eye is feeling a little better karma67, you wouldn't have to close the curtains here, plenty of cloud cover, where the f--k's that heatwave?

Man that is painful, in the 'old' days I used to hide behind the touch when replacing inner arches. Just occassional you would get caught, the last time was a hospital visit. Never again
Hope it clears up soon

up bright and early to paint a garage roof with agrypol . quite a big job but fine if its the right temperature Very effective, but horrible stuff - your brushes will be a write off, as will any clothes you may get it on. I once used it to seal solar panel brackets on a flat roof, then the customer gave me a lift to one of his other properties to look at something. I think he was just keen to show off his brand new Audi A6 Allroad. You can guess where this is going. He didn't seem to mind, said he'd get it off the leather seats no problem. He never got back to me about the other job...

i just became a member of the saec tonearm cable club or STCC for short! lol After one as well but do not want 1.3metres of it, might not matter but I just don't want that much of a length. 0.75 - 0.80 is what I'm after but been quoted 700USD, which is plenty more than the 1.3m they do it in - we'll see

Decided to have a play with the 401 in the 2nd system, as it had been sat in the corner for nearly 6 months. So pulled the R200 off of my Rega Planar 3 and mounted it inplace of the RB250 to see how the 200 performed on a better deck. This also allowed to play with a few vintage carts I had, (A&r P77Mg, AT OC5 & EEI 555MCP). Damn this R200 is good, way better than the Rega 3 it was on. The P77 & OC5 sounded superb but the EEI(0.14mV) is in a league of its own, and as a £79 gamble (£485 in 1984) a veritable bargain.

No idea Jamie, the Olster will know No, we were talking at cross purposes. Rob was talking of one cable and I was talking of another. Disregard that Rob.

He doesn't even need to do that either. They sell 0.7m cables 👌

If so kindly send me a link, would be appreciated You don't want 5000 Rob, the XR-3000 is exactly the same cable, just minus the jacket. You will need to change the brass plugs anyway, so may as well buy the XR3000 and take XLR plugs off and re-terminate. zenmarket.jp/en/rakutenproduct.aspx?itemCode=murauchi-denki:77894291
