Today I stripped down, cleaned and rebuilt my mosquito trap. The manufacturer does not sell spares, so I measured the thermistor value so I can order a few spares.

having a whale of a time decorating a house while the owner is away ... absolute nightmare when they are there , keep bumping into them and tripping over them so much easier when place is empty ... !!! [ owner is severely disabled and falls over a lot !!]

Today I find myself full of flu.
Kids!...... every time they go back to school, they catch a bug and give it to us.

I don't know what mine are, there is some slight give in them if you press down on the top.
They came along with a Technics SL6 I bought so I didn't get the box or manual with them.

Admired some lovely horses unloaded in our community centre car park for a high end wedding

went to the supermarket. handy to be able to go mid morning when it is quiet, takes some of the agony out of it. Can be in and out in five minutes.
Novelty of cooking for myself not worn off yet even though I just eat the same things every day. My grandad used to say 'If you're really hungry you will eat anything.'
Thunderstorms predicted here for this afternoon so thought I'd get the going outside thing done first.

Hi Martin
How are you finding your spare time now, must admit it did take a little while to adjust for my dad especially if you have been working for 35 years +

Hi Martin How are you finding your spare time now, must admit it did take a little while to adjust for my dad especially if you have been working for 35 years + It was a bit strange for the first week, second week less so, and now I am into week three I think I've adapted. Manged to busy myself with tasks around the house. Yesterday I spent an hour or so cleaning out the 'fridge. Exciting times. Plus that trip down to Dudley and the overnight stay broke things up a bit and I'm away for a while next week too. get my redundancy cheque this Friday, got a meeting with the bank to see about investing it - so I don't succumb to temptation and blow it all on hi-fi

Hi Martin
I'm sure it will come naturally to you in time no question.
Indeed make sure you obtain at least three independant finanical advisers opinions before deciding what to do with your hard earned funds, it takes a long time to aquire them and its all to easy to lose them on things you may not require right now.
Either way gald you are working it out.

I had 2 years working from home so that sort of got me used to being at home all day. And the last three months at work I didn't have much to do. So that's eased me into it a bit. But I've been working in some capacity since I was 17. Even when I was a student I had jobs. So it's still a bit weird.

I couldn't afford anything at Cranage even when I was working. I do like going to that one though.

Every time I go on holiday I get it for a day or two, feeling guilty about doing nowt, until I adjust.
