Just bought a pair of Impulse H2’s. Well done! I love them, A mate had a pair I wanted to buy but he was wanting 3 times what he paid and I wanted a bit better deal from a mate so it never happened. Never heard a pair, seem to be a lot of love for them in general though.

Just bought a pair of Impulse H2’s. I wondered who'd bought them. I have heard a pair, once. I got the impression of great clarity.

I got them a little cheaper. :-) My mate got his pair for £450. He did really good. They needed a reform but he was looking fir £1350-1400 and I wanted a deal, so it never quite came together. I think he ended up auctioning them and getting about a grans but it’s a while ago, Hope you enjoy team Ali. As long as you’re not afraid of scale, you should love them,

I remember Jimmy's pair with great fondness. An article on his music collection shows he still has them on each side and firing away from him with other stuff on top, but his living 'room' on two levels looked to be at hoarder level now I thought and I don't think he can move around much now.
Oh the wonderful memories of sitting there with less 'stuff' around and listening to wonderful music nonetheless. I haven't been there since 1995 or so...

Jimmy was an inspiration to me and so many others. I saw that article too and really hope he’s happy.

What would forum personas have done for attention before the invention of the internet? 30 years old last week, and all thanks to a plucky Brit.

Politics? Journalism? Pub bore?
I was a pub bore myself, thirty years man and boy. Hardest game in the world. Had to give it up though, terrible back injury.

Say the first thing that springs to mind.....
I think I am done with HiFi forums for a while. It’s spring. The days are getting longer and I have better ways of spending my time. I’ll be popping back from time to time.

Elsewhere, Mr Audio A. is looking for a certain bulb type 6.3V at ,25mA from a UK source. If he does a search for "fuse lamps" on eBay he'll find UK suppliers (one from Cleveland, here in the North East). He would, however, be better off getting a pack of 10 from a German seller:

They've got some good grouping there.
'The soldiers' "Drop Zone flashings" on their left shoulders, which would identify which parachute regiment they are in, cannot be seen.'
Really? How many parachute regiments does the Army have now? Typical Sh#t reporting. Journalists are W#nk these days.

Anyone else think the MPs are deliberately stalling Brexit?
Is Nigel Farage going to make a career out of getting out of the EU?

I’m stunned that we could leave Friday and TM is still paralysed in the same position she held months ago.

Most MPs want to stay in and the EU doesn't want us to go. And the MPs who want to leave want to leave with no deal whereas those who want to stay would only accept leaving with a deal of the sort where we might as well not have left in the first place.
Not really surprising that there is an impasse.
