It looks a decent design. I like compact transmission line speakers and have built them in the past. My next speaker project is likely to be similar.

Geoff is splashing out again S. Sold my last stands with the KEF Corellis. Should have kept them. Come to that, I should have kept the Corellis, they were outstanding. Best of all the vintage 'C' series KEFs.

We all make daft mistakes at times, Geoff. Typical human behavior.

Cheers, Shane.
The only reason I bought them was that Haider from Sonneteer loves them. They are always the brand he recommends and what chance would I have of swing another pair with matching stands at that price?
I really didn’t want to do it and I hope and expect to be staying with my Spicas, but I’m really just wanting to try these out of curiosity.
I do like the looks though,

Yeah, it looks to be a variant of the Seas P14 RC. Being a Sonneteer fanboy, these have been on my radar for a couple of years.

Congrats on both your purchases. The Connoisseur TT did not include the arm.

Cheers. I could collect earlier but I’m waiting until next Friday because I’m passing and it means no extra time or cost. I can’t see them bettering the Spicas if the Reference 3as didn’t, but it’s an experience I’m ok to pay for.
I genuinely don’t think I can live with a front firing speaker of any kind, but I’ve been wrong before.

Congrats on both your purchases. The Connoisseur TT did not include the arm. Quite right. I was skimming the listings and didn't read that. Still cheap though for the TT and plinth.

Suspiciously cheap. And no photos of it 'in context' that always makes me nervy. If it is legit and it was in the UK I'd have that like a shot.

Tasty. £75 in 1976 is £516 today so a bit of a bargain at £61. You going to ugrade the caps and so forth then?

The seventies Trio amps are all nice. The bottom of the range KA-2000A is possibly the sweetest sounding of the lot. The sound is pretty close to the Sugden A21. I've compared them.
