If anyone’s interested I have the same, but in perfect condition and will do a better deal. 🤣 I love how OP has decided that he has to put the price up to £50,000 to not get interest. How did he decide that if he had gone for £49,999 someone may have been interested and click ‘buy it now’ 🤣

I was banned from that site for telling a seller his listing was NOT the amp in his pictures. He was supposedly selling a Mark II Denon PMA850 which are pretty rare but his photos were of the Mark I, so I messaged him, next thing I know I'm banned? You try and help eh!

Maybe because you're from the UK?....my log in isn't working either. Just says I'm not found.

PLINIUS 9200 Can only simply say that this is an exceptional and Superb amp, my current amp and the best I've owned without a doubt. Effortless power - 200 wpc @ 8ohms, dynamic, depth, cohesion, natural warmth, probably a last amp for many, you'd have to spend many thousands to genuinely 'improve' on it. I'd be happy paying £1500 for a used one in good order, even more - Currently looking like this could be more than a bargain for someone. If I had the money I'd try nab it myself, but I wouldnt have anywhere to store it without the Mrs moaning its in the way. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125801344027?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D777008%26algo%3DPERSONAL.TOPIC%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20220705100511%26meid%3D4cc6fee9697d4859b23ad24f11909cc3%26pid%3D101524%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26itm%3D125801344027%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26algv%3DRecentlyViewedItemsV2%26brand%3DPlinius&_trksid=p2380057.c101524.m146925&_trkparms=pageci%3Ad427d2ca-bf28-11ed-a63e-a2477a6c0310%7Cparentrq%3Acaecc37a1860ab8f2efc85fdffff8b0b%7Ciid%3A1I can only wholeheartedly agree with this comment from a forum member, you can find online. The 9200 is one of the best voiced transistorized amps I've experienced, especially considering its design is well over 15 years old. The calling card of Plinius 9200 is that it gives you a taste of ultra high end electronics at a fraction of their price. That's true of its phono stage as well. There is a robust warmth to the way everything sounds through a 9200. That's true of both the phono stage and the amp in general. Both have lots of depth and let you almost taste the music. A 9200 doesn't present the sound. Instead, it draws you into it. Reviews - www.audioreview.com/product/amplification/integrated-amplifiers/plinius/9200.htmlI cannot recommend the 9200 enough - love mine ! Oh, just to add, this is an amp that likes to be kept on, I keep mine on standby / on. The difference between a Plinny 9200 from cold and one that has been on for 24hrs plus is night and day. and double edit- they dont come up often...

That's a lot of amp for the money. These were £3800 new. If I was shopping for an amp I'd be all over this. That remote looks like a weapon

That's a lot of amp for the money. These were £3800 new. If I was shopping for an amp I'd be all over this. That remote looks like a weapon Exactly on all counts, one excellent amp, very happy to have one, gives you that sense of pride of ownership, you get with certain kit, the way you know it is good, in the way it does its thing, power, detail, quiet, dynamic, nuanced, depth, non fatiguing, just gives you the music. I always look forward to getting the tunes out and putting it through its paces, that what it does to me, every session feels like an experience, in that good and positive, looking forward to the next one sense. And the remote too, feels like an experience - solid aluminium, substantial like a baton, matches the amp perfectly, which itself has a 7mm thick body wrapped around it - quality ! The 9200 is quality inside and out. I'll happily keep mine for good, or until it either fails, at which point I'd look to have it fixed, or until I was ever fortunate enough to be able to afford the one amp I know would give me as much pleasure and match it plus - Pass Labs INT-250 @ £11.5k new.

The listing finished today, he may not have got round to re-listing. Listed as sold I bought it... I was wondering if it'll be salvageable, so took a punt on it. It'll be great if it just needs refinishing and lacquer. However, if it is bent or warped it'll have to be returned. I can't believe how battered it looks though, looks like it's been tossed around a garage for a few weeks.

I was looking for one for a while but have an Audio Technica one which I am very happy with Makes a marked improvement in sound to my ears.

Fingers crossed it's not too bad and I can make it shiny again. If its not warped or bent it should be fine acoustically. I have been looking on and off too, they are not easy to find and decent ones cost 100s. Angus has the AT, Tenuto and stock rubber mats and I have listened to all 3 a few times. The AT and Tenuto were a big step up from the rubber mat and to my ears I preferred the Tenuto (vs the AT) on the SP10. My Turntable is out action (well, the house is out of action!) so I'll have a while to make it look pretty again.

A little while back I was very lucky to buy a spare AT Angus had. It is a wonderful thing. Fingers crossed your is flat and salvageable. I’m sure you will be able to get it back to a great shine.

The arm fetches £500 now, so the TT and plinth at £1k is a pretty good price to be fair.
