It's still a bargain at that price. Yeah I agree (although I would owning one!). I was actually going to have a word with the guy I was speaking to there (after I accidentally ordered two!) about continuing the discount for forum members if they were interested. Can't promise anything but he seemed very happy for my business at least. I also told him I had posted about the deal on the forum and he was quite grateful. I'll give him an email to inquire anyway. Yeah, see what he says! |

Guys,
Just to update this I inquired as to the possibility of a reactivation of the discount on these racks should anyone have missed it first time around, they agreed!
The new code is:
AUDIOSTAND20
I'm not sure if they have the full black one in again (although the expresso one is black enough!) or if you could purchase at the discount price and then wait until they are in stock?
They are helpful and respond to emails anyway if anyone did wish to ask.
Like I say I couldn't be happier with mine!
The code should be valid for two weeks from now.

Chrome on smartphone (mobile and desktop versions) here, I was browsing, had stuff in the cart then page failed to reload after I'd gone back to look at something else. No matter I was going to order the stand plus the extra 'amp' shelf in maple but the extra shelf is oos, no real point only getting the shelf later and adding postage costs. Might just be a smartphone browser issue.  |

Ahh . . . okay I'm getting a stutter when I go on it now but then it still gets there, maybe adding up cache by having stuff in the basket does overload the website or something.
How annoying though, do persevere though.
If the problem persists I'll have a word with the people I've been speaking to there.

Just received an email from Karoline at Monoprice to conform there was an issue but it should now be resolved.

Working for me now, I'll need to check measurements and if the right size I'll perhaps order, unfortunately the amp stand shelf is out of stock which I think I could do with, if so then I'll need to wait until they come in and the offer comes around again.

Cool, I'll need to check about the extra shelf as I might need it with 8 boxes of various sizes plus a TT 😉 Oh and I'd only have 0.9" clearance above my primaluna power amp which has 8 EL34s and 6 x 12au7s burning away. Well that's it here and built 😊 Pretty simple to put together, done in about 15 minutes after unpacking. Couple of slight dents on the facing edge of one of the shelves but that won't show as I'll make that the rear of the unit. Just need to fill it now 😉 I did think about changing the larger spaced shelf one level higher to get the valve amp more on show, might still do that yet.  |

Yeah I'm really happy with it, I'm a wee bit concerned about cabling in view as I absolutely hate seeing them, so I'm going to try and run them down behind the rear legs as much as I can.
I'll update later once done, chores first though 🙄

can't fault that for the money
One thing you can do to hide cables is attach a white or black sheet of stiff card to the back of the unit and run the cables behind that. Just make some holes in it for the cables to feed through, the holes will be hidden by the equipment being connected.
