I was having serious trouble with my Left knee with my Weight.
In no was was it a Diet, I see people fanny about on em & nearly always fail. All i did was cut out take-aways & Booze. Small food portions, No bread. But things people feel they should cut out i never did. Cutting out everything & living on a Rabbit diet is a sure fire way to failure. Sure bulk your meals up with Veg & Salad but do not cut everything out.
Anyway i went from 17.5 Stone to 12.7 Stones. BMI was 35, Now its just under 25.. Its amazing going down five sizes in jeans. The wife thinks i look ill now but i just say its because you are used to see me looking over weight.

Had an unhealthy meal. Ordered a pizza from Pappa John's. Arrived hot and fresh to my doorstep.

I really need to lose weight and am struggling to get rid of it.
Dinner tonight was Gammon, Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Vegetables and it was lovely.

Just small portions Paul. Easy as that. Knock Bread & Booze on the head if you indulge..

Well that's the diet out of the window today. Lunch is, crusty baguette roll with loads of Tesco Vintage Farmhouse Cheddar (lovely), sliced tomato, proper butter (none of yer low fat spreads here), black pepper & salt. Plus a 'nana!

Yummy but that would be too many Carbs for me the Banana alone would be on verge of allowed limit with a Low carb diet..

I put on 3LB this month for some odd reason, this may not seem a lot to some over a month but i am trying to maintain my weight.
I am trying out a Low Carb regime for a bit as i think it may be a carb issue.

Haddock fish cake, fish fingers and mushy peas. I don't understand fish fingers plus fishcake. Not saying there's anything wrong with it, but it just wouldn't occur to me. I'd have one or the other. (I had egg salad by the way)

Some people have mash potatoes and roast potatoes on the same plate Geoff. That's as bad as having rice with pasta.

Keeping it simple today. Fish fingers, boiled spuds & fried tomatoes. Followed with melon, black grapes and strawberries with a little dribble of raspberry syrup.
