Coloured Vinyl always sounds inferior to Black Vinyl.
Not so.

Coloured Vinyl always sounds inferior to Black Vinyl. Not so.Probably correct. Coloured vinyl usually contains less filler/colourant than black vinyl and should make better pressings.

I agree, wattage is not always that important, it is more about the quality overall design of amplifier. However power supplies are incredibly important.

I have a couple.
Just because it measures well doesn’t necessarily mean it will sound any good.
Just because it’s expensive doesn’t necessarily mean it is better than something cheaper.

I have had small well designed amps, about 3-5wpc and they did sound Brill, but they never had that "reserve" or "effortless" feel. Once I heard the KSA100 MK2, it was all over for small, low power amps. I have done more testing in this area and everytime, I picked the higher power amp.

Assuming that others actually know what they're talking about can be folly!

Some claim it lets the Snakeoil flow better. It is what it is, Harry. Scientific evidence that when a cable is drawn, the molecular structure is not symmetrical Whether that is the reason people claim a specific direction sounds better, it doesn't say, but I'd be cautious to write it off as bullshit. I use directional arrows on my cables because the manufacturer puts one on there to indicate direction of travel. I have turned them round multiple times and I cant decide if I'm imagining it, or not

I've damped a listening room 100% when we had a listening room to spare. It was a bedroom and we went for it. Dont do it. It kills the music. Like listening to death ! Let's face it...live music is never damped.

Cables (wires) are directional.........😂😂😂😂 Never mind cables, you should consider whether the signal is directional (note, I did not say polarised).

That grounding boxes work to 'improve' the sound when all the evidence so far suggests quite the opposite?

It seems that one person's audiofoolery misconception is another person's experienced-based truth.

That grounding boxes work to 'improve' the sound when all the evidence so far suggests quite the opposite? According to who?, have you tried one Dave? I know a number of people that have tried them and have been impressed and surprised with the difference they bring. Equally I know of a few that haven't felt they brought benefit and that is also fine. Personally, I can't comment because I haven't tried one yet.
