Sorry I think that was more than 17 ? All first press / Mint vinyl and Covers.
It's a little bit bass heavy but it's better than both the original and the reissue from a couple of years back. I'd like to try the 40th Anniversary Edition which has some reworking of the original recordings by Bob's son Ziggy who also remastered the 40th anniversary release of Kaya which is pretty good.
I do find the mofi releases a bit hit and miss though I was bought the recent One Step copy of What's Going On as a present and it's ok and does improve on the original but doesn't warrant the $125 price tag where as the Kind of Blue, Round About Midnight and In a Silent way reissues I have are excellent but I suppose the quality of the original recordings was very good to begin with.
Some of the cheaper 'Silver Label' series though good value are also a bit hit and miss I had a couple of early Rod Stewart that I sold on but kept the Bill Evans and Jim Hall - Undercurrent. I suppose where first press copies are price prohibitive then the mofi reissues are a cost effective alternative.
