Today, I am working from home. I happened to look out the window and saw three animals grazing in my garden.
Oh deer, I thought to myself.

Is there much difference between Sainsbury's beans and Lidl's beans? Can't you just go to Marks and Spencer's? This time OMG I have no idea of what it is they are selling. 'Mr Choc' - I mean WTF is that? You should have tried the Mr. Choc. Anyone born with that name has their career path pretty much mapped out. So he will have had plenty of time to get good at it. The real reason people spend less at Aldi is because they only have half the stuff you need. So you go somewhere proper for the rest of your shopping and end up spending the same overall. We drive right past our Aldi on our way to Morrisons, because we can't be arsed with having to visit two supermarkets.

Your right about Mr Choc I regret not getting a bar now, but you should have seen the packaging.
You know when you are on the continent, and you fancy some biscuits, but they have nothing you recognise? So you decide to play safe by buying some shortbread. Only to find out later that a) Whatever it is they are made of it isn't shortbread, and b) it has some revolting goo in the middle.
Anway That's what put me off it.

That looks like a great day. I've never been to Oulton Park, even though it is only about 40 miles from me. As for riding with a BSB rider who presumably knows the track like the back of his hand, that must have been a white knuckle ride! I've never been a good pillion. Do you currently have a bike? What you got? I have been to Oulton Park a few times. The first time was the early Eighties when I went with a friend on the back of his CX500 to watch the bike racing then in the middle 90's when I got invited by friend to go to a Porsche owners club meeting there where I got to drive his Porsche around the track - that was great Regarding the lap around the track, it was in the pace car with two other passengers

made a crude ear/driver height gauge. its always bugged me that i cant actually measure properly the height of my ears when sitting in the listening chair as the sofa arm gets in the way. this solves the problem as i dont need measurements,i simple sit down and raise or lower the round bar till it touches my ear and then move it over to the speakers and and check it agaisnt the drivers height. as it turns out i wasn't far out anyway. WARNING PANTS ARE IN THE PHOTO!!!!

Today I decided I would take my digital journey a little bit further, and have a play with an external 10Mhz clock, so bought one of these to dip my toes. Not expecting much for a £100 unit as generally you only get what you pay for, but then again wasn't gonna blow silly money on one. However if I get I minor uplift then atleast it will be proof of concept and I can consider my next move if any.

lurch Were does that sit in the system John and how and what do you connect it to since you have the Mutec?

Connects to the Mutec via the Clock in, and replaces the Mutec word clock as the master clock.

Connects to the Mutec via the Clock in, and replaces the Mutec word clock as the master clock. I like the ingenuity here but my suspicion would be that it's not going to better the clock in the Mutec, as my understanding goes the Mutec can output multiple clock signals at 10mhz for other components to run off (just like this cheaper one is doing). It's like running a Ferrari off a ford engine. I could be well mistaken about that though. I know there is a much better clock available from Mutec for this application, but it's in the grands....

Yeah pretty much my take Chris, as it seems too cheap to make a difference?? . However its also a cheap punt and if it works then happy days. I will report back either way then either keep or sell it on with a small loss.

Oh! 😂😂😂 Yes, I have added a little more resistance to the power supply to tame that a bit. I'd like my retina undamaged lol

You could of course run a stiff tape measure from the ceiling down to your ear Save yourself all that welding and heavy lifting. Or tape a laser level to the side of your head. I have one of those, to check I'm properly horizontal on the sofa.

The newly-refurbished Sainsbury re-opened today so went in after work.
On the minus side they have stopped selling Krispy Kreme donuts. On the plus side they've now got blood orange juice.
Otherwise it's pretty much the same just with everything moved round so you can't find it.
Only two tills open with the slowest operators they could find. Had a choice of getting in the queue behind a fat bird who was buying so much food it was a wonder there was anything left in the shop. Or a young girl buying almost as much. Went for the latter option and for once I picked the right queue. Fat bird was still piling stuff on the conveyor as I was walking out.
