That's up to the barber. If he doesn't want to turn away people who aren't wearing masks then that's up to him. As it should be. The efficacy of masks is vastly over-stated anyway. Like putting a sieve on your head to stop the rain making your hair wet. Their main purpose seems to be to give the holier-than-though brigade another stick to beat people with. If a mask is only 5% effective, that's five people out of every 100 that would not catch Covid, I call that effective.

Re masks/Covid (unproven stats either way) etc etc. The debate is fine but we all know where this path can lead chaps.
Carry on by all means but play nice as we're undoubtedly about to stray into (completely understandable) disagreement territory.
One thing I think we can all agree on though is that we can't wait for it to f*** the f*** outta here. If we do all we can to guard against it (not referencing any measure specifically) that's got to be a good thing and we can get back to arguing about who's phono stage is better and why by actually meeting up and listening to the damn things without fear of meeting up potentially making us dangerously ill!
Carry on!

Yep, I've mown my own swede for the last 10yrs. I was on the dole at the time and realised the leccy clippers for sale on a market stall were only the price of 2 haircuts. Have saved a fortune since as they usually last 3-4 yrs before giving up, so <£5 a year.

Haven't cut my hair for 33 years, spent all the savings on beers, vinyl and gig tkts. less need to cut it now as it's starting to fall out all by itself!

Yesterday I got my Nords back and slotted them back in, inplace of the Arcam Alpha 8P I had be using. Initial reaction was Meh should of left the 8P in, the Nords sounded thin and bright and it took several hours for me to relax with their sound. This morning having let them warm up with a few hours of RP I did some critical listening and realised that what I at first thought was thin and bright was actually a pair of amps gripping the bass and removing the flab allowing the Mids & hf to come through and flourish. For what it is, the 8P is a fantastic budget power amp and was well worth the £100 it cost me but I'm now loving the Nords again.

had my booster and flu jabs this morning. Two mile walk to get there, of course it was pissing down with rain there and back.
Was in and out in ten minutes though so can't complain.

It is, it's a shame I don't. I can walk any distance but don't ask me to run more than a hundred yards.

That booster knocked me for six. Was fine all day apart from feeling like I had a gunshot wound in my arm but about 2100 started getting feverish.
Thought I'd go to bed and sleep it off but had the worst night sleep I've had in years. Feel a bit better this morning but not 100 percent.
Previous two jabs didn't touch me but they were AZ and the booster was Moderna.

I was told to drink lots of water, and take paracetamol. It seemed to work for me.

Can't remember which booster my brother had, but his arm swelled up and was a little painful, apparently it was one of he side effects listed, lasted about one week. If all else fails Macca, arsenic tablets are a bit of a cure all.

Spent all yesterday drinking tea and watching old episodes of 'Air Crash Investigation'.
feel 100 percent today - well as close to 100 percent as I ever am. Doubt I'll ever be getting on an aeroplane again though...
Arm is only painful now if I move it about a lot.
