what you need now is a massive skyline diffuser right across those doors. knock it up yourself in the garage. Even I could build one, although I'd have to do it in the living room.

Yeah, i agree, but the light into the lounge is limited as it is, so the gaffer won't be having that idea at all....well, not until i can think of a way it will benefit the lounge too.

Well done in sorting your rack positions out, I know it can be a rotten job trying to keep the wiring neat. What has happened to you tonearm, it's invisible?
Thinking out loud regarding the diffuser, a slatted blind of some sort that could be lowered/raised as needs be.

If it was just one 600x600 skyline and the stand did not put it higher than the telly, it might just do enough for you without affecting the light or view from the lounge.

Thinking out loud regarding the diffuser, a slatted blind of some sort that could be lowered/raised as needs be. The tonearm is with Angus, as it is undergoing some experimental rewiring. We are trying to wrangle some PC-CCC in there, but it is proving to be a pain due to the stiffness. There is a chance we may be trying something else, that we are told lands somewhere between OCC and CCC.....it's D.U.C.C However, this requires someone's generosity in giving us access to his supplier. I remain hopeful. The phonostage is on the bench awaiting the new WBT sockets and a PC-CCC rewire. That should be done tomorrow.

Looks like an interesting power switch concept as well. I don’t think it will catch on.
Seeing the open PSU and knowing you have kids makes me nervous though…

Seeing the open PSU and knowing you have kids makes me nervous though… The switch is necessary as the soft start isn't playing ball properly. For some bizarre reason it only partly playing ball with that switch alone. I'll be replacing the soft start. No need to be nervous about the LPSU. It's only in when I'm in there and they are well supervised kids.

Is that now the same as Firebottle's? Not quite. I've put my power supply external, whereas Alans is inside the Mutec.
