Can there be a category for all the many people on the net who now say “loose” or “looser” when what they really mean is lose or loser? Or at least for those that get worked up about it? “Loose” is the opposite of tight BTW.

Lived there for nine years as a child- Zambia and RSA. Saw some crazy things.. Have very fond memories of my youth spent in the bush with my mates and the dogs every afternoon after school and the weekends in the then Northern Rhodesia. We ran wild were gone for hours on end. It was perfectly safe for a kid to run wild in those days. Even in the wilds of Africa. I watched as a great country the then Rhodesia descended into starvation and poverty. Lived there during the bush war, a total waste of time in the end, had some hair raising near misses, nevertheless I survived. Just hope I can survive the few years left to me. Looking at the state the world is in now perhaps I am in a way lucky to be stuck here as nobody wants to mass migrate here and we have nothing to offer besides great weather, beautiful scenery, and empty wild places and beaches. In fact some of our northern African brothers who came as economic migrants are returning to their home countries. Yes I also when we lived in Zambia. Great times. When we moved to Kempton Park near Joburg there wasn’t the opportunity, but we still found plenty to do.

Actually, most if not all forums are splinter groups set up by one or more malcontent who has flounced, or been banned from, A.N. Other forum. They immediately ban the forum owner who banned them. Everyone else is essentially a non-combatant, treading a sometimes difficult line between several powerful egos. Sometimes they get caught in the crossfire. pretty much sums it up. It gets harder every day to remember if you are in the Judean People's Front or the People's Front Of Judea. All just a microcosm of how the real world works. As above, so below, and all that.
I'm willing to accept that I am a bit crazy or at least slightly eccentric. But then it is an Englishman's God-given right to be a bit crazy or eccentric. So I don't see any problem with that in me or anyone else.
The reason that the internet is full of 'shallow, stupid unpleasant little people' is because the world is full of them. As there's not really anything that can be done about that I don't understand why people bother to complain about it.
Personally, I wasn't complaining; it's not something I do; I'm unusually tolerant. I was expressing an opinion as the words disingenuous, insincere and hypocrite were passing through my mind. Obviously, forums will reflect the world at large. I say at large, obviously that will depend on how accommodating the owners wish to be. At the end of the day, at the end of a long day, at the end of a very long day, inevitably, (inevitably), some people just can't help themselves and their true personality will out and result in them being removed. Some people have the innate ability not to be able to learn from their past.

"Loose and tight" my ideal woman, only rub is is they get even more pricey than an audio obsession.

Fines of £1,000 should be imposed for each offence, doubled if the culprit blames auto-correct.

Autocorrect should sue.

You forgot 'Should of' instead of 'Should have.'
And the classic 'They sent it to myself.'
