i think i must be up there as one of the worlds most fussiest cnuts. our bathroom gets a full car wax every single sunday our car gets a full valet sometimes twice a week if the weather allows.
even a speck of dust on a work surface sets me off.. our grass has to be stone free.
i even wash the garage floor once a week in summer...i doubt there are more pedant people on this planet..we built this house 12 years ago and it's as good as the day we moved in

My only OCD tendency is a dislike of cramped or crowded spaces. Clutter has a similar effect if it takes away space. I can ignore it in the short term, but I couldn’t live with a hoarder or an untidy person. Where you and I are really different is that I can quite happily do nothing for as long as I possibly can. I have no work ethic unles it’s creating or fixing something. Cleaning or maintaining anything is a chore I hate with every fibre of my body.

Have a brew and watch the telly?
I'm at both extremes myself, find it very hard to motivate myself to clean up but once I start I'm obsessive. I can spend an hour just cleaning the sink and taps, even the slightest mark has to go. That's why I don't do it that often. I had a big clearup in the bedrooms last week because of my mate coming to stay. Didn't quite finish one of them before he showed up and now its bugging me. But if I start now I'll go on all day with it. The trick is to just let it go.

Just tidied the kitchen, cleaned the bathroom and sanded & repainted some white woodwork that was flaking a bit, then hoovered the hall and living room. If it stays dry, I may cut the grass later.

I read the opening post on this thread and went back to bed for a bit more of a lie-in.

I've got out of bed, got dressed and made a cup of tea. And drank it (well, almost).

Now I'm going to go round the corner to the supermarket and buy all the apple danishes they have.

With me, things take ten times longer than thy should do because I'm shambolic and disorganised, so can never find things when I need them. I spent ages looking for a screwdriver yesterday which I'd used only a couple of days previously.

Back already! No pissing about in there for hours for me, some couples wandering around in there like it's Disneyworld the sad bastards. The highlight of their Sunday. I'd rather shoot myself in the head than live like that.

Sometimes he does clean up just the hallway, in his words, 'So if someone comes to the door they don't think I have mental health issues.' (He doesn't, he's just a pisshead).

My kitchen needs a clean but I know if I start now it'll be 1600 or later when I finish and that's my Sunday gone. If I thought I could just spend an hour on it then I'd do it.

there was a cooker already in my house when I bought it. It was minging. Took me 4 hours just to clean the top around the gas burners. Then I looked inside the oven. Forget about it.

That's not an oven. This is an oven (etc) And you have to wear a daft placcy hair thing and Adidas Samba in order to operate it. Comes in white though.
