I take me hat off to you Rudi, I bet your place is spotless. I used to be nearly as fussy, but over the last 10 years I've got very lazy, and cleaning has become a chore. I will say Rudi, I don't believe there is a need to wax your bathroom tiles and cupboard doors once a week, maybe once a month.

I dunno. Maybe being an idle sod is what makes me so cheerful. All you OCD types seem to be miserable buggers, however clean your kitchens may be.

When I'm sitting on my rocking chair on the porch, blanket draped across my lap, Winchester rifle balanced on my knees...I wonder if I'll look back on my life and say 'Dang! I should have done more cleaning!'
I'll risk it...

What I really need is an army of servants to do all the tedious cleaning, gardening and DIY shite that I spend my days avoiding. Actually, I don't mind gardening, it gets me out in the fresh air and the exercise is good for me, but cleaning is a PITA and everything just gets dirty again anyway.

Thing is if you keep on top of it, you will never ever see it get dirty again.

I can't even be arsed to cook let alone clean up afterwards. I'll even order meals that you can eat with your hands out of the tray they came in so it generates zero washing up.

Morning Rudi, you're my hero getting all these jobs done early. No wonder the rest of the family can stay in bed till late morning.

I’m not an early riser unless I need to be. I’m pretty useless until lunchtime so I try to do important stuff later in the day. I still apparently have the same sleep patterns I was born with. Either up late or up for a couple of in the middle of the night, then back to sleep til 8am-ish.

You can't beat a sit on mower. You actually go round looking for patches of grass to cut and are disappointed when it is all done.
They don't have grass where I live though.

Most energetic thing I've done this morning is empty the dishwasher, then I had to stop halfway through to have a bacon sandwich & more coffee.
