new model v70 volvos resist rust well..even 20 year old ones generaly are rust free..toyotas aswell seem to hold up.. volvos more than any other car though holds up well

Hope you purchased the 166 used, one of the biggest depreciating cars on the market at the time. Shame really, reports I have seen all say it was a super car. I owned the Alfa 156, loved driving that. No both secondhand. You can get a good 166 for next to nowt, only paid 2k for that one. Bought the 164 from a guy in London for £400 - flew down and drove it home. :-). The 166 was more refined than the 164, both great drives though. The 166 had a Powerflow exhaust on it, sounded lovely. Should've kept the 164 - there's a QV for sale on ebay for 10 grand. |

gonna spend nothing now untill i got one of these in the garage..i wont even buy a can of coke untill the jobs completed..the most amazing car on the planet for 40k ffs..
we can save 3k a month if carefull..we got 20k in the bank now..that will never go below 10k..so basically i need to save 30k..10 months time it will be done..you know when u see something and you know you must have it. well everytime i see a gen6 camaro in the flesh my head starts to spin..this is a true love affair going on here lol..

once i get it it will be cleaned underneath with a toothbrush..it will never ever see a speck of rain..this maybe will be must last sports car..nobody needs more than this beauty can do..road tax is only 350 quid a year..does 28mpg ffs.
active exhaust is fekin awesome..when about town with the wife u leave it in normal mode..just hit the settings put it in race mode and voila u have a race exhaust..same with the suspension set up. magnetic ride so fully adjustable.
head up display throws your speed and other info up on the windscreen. my 2013 camaro had it and it's fucking awesome to have

when driving normally and just thinking about other things it makes it easier to keep within the speed limit as it's right in front of ya nose..
the mian reason to buy a yank car is for one thing and one thing only.
that glorious yank v8..everytime you put ya foot down it makes me smile..6.2l same as the corvette uses. problem with the vet is getting in and out of it..embarassing ffs. only thing stopping me getting one. the camaro u just slide in it. plus rear seats for the dogs,.
this car will be polished way more than driven..just the way it is when i own a muscle car.. watch this space mofos..working out the options to get one of these asap ofc without loaning money..will never do that ffs

Right on both counts. The MR2 was a 1991 on an H plate, was one of the first proper UK spec 2 litre GT non-turbos. The Clio's a 2015 (but it's still a current model) 1.4 diesel with a claimed 83mpg (I've never managed more than 60), gave £10k cash for it when it was just under a year old.

the r1 re wrote the rule book when released.was the first bike i ever owned that would pull redline in top gear easily .i had the same year and colour..then bought the 2000 gsxr1000

I'm not a car guy, my push bikes cost more than my cars. But I have to comment on the ford rust issue. My 99 plate focus had one spot of rust on it after 15 years and 210k miles, and that was crash damage repair location. Never garaged, spent loads of time on the beach, literally on the sand.
Must have been a good day at the panel dippers...

btw that pos passat in front of me was totaly rotten throughout..wings doors everything.. 50k down the drain lol. wifes mate spent 60k on a brand new merc in 2002. it lasted 8 years before they scrapped it..last mot it had the fella said it will never pass another one.. so what did the retards do? yep bought another pos merc and believed the shite the salesman was spouting kia ceed are awesome cars..8 year warranty and they resist rust well..not seen a rotten one yet..nobody needs more than a ceed.. i got a 2017 ford transit company van. utter fucking pos thing..falling to bits already |
