Fresh after doing my crossovers im ready for another challenge, oli kindly agreed to sell me a BB3 board and here it is,I've ordered up all the other parts and i'm keen to get stuck in. Not having built anything like this before please check in regularly as im bound to ask stupid questions! Actually im rather excited if the truth be known.

I am excited too Jamie. It's always nice to see someone enthusiastic putting something together themselves. You have our full support should you have a question. Just ask away! BTW, some record cleaning fluid and toothbrush will get 90% of any excess residue off the PCB when you have finished soldering the Diodes in place etc. May need a couple of passes but it does work well. Oh, yes....your PCB is No.49, so i have made a note of it in my book too. I like to keep track

That table looks exactly like my old school desk. Except without the graffiti.

On both sides, so in effect one faces inwards and one faces outwards.

Looking tidy.
Did you measure the signal caps?

Looking tidy. Did you measure the signal caps? yes ,i got them as close a match as i could,i reckon id need to buy loads to perfectly match them,i may do this down the line when its run in.
regarding the semi conductors to heatsinks, i assume you use thermal past and some sort of nut/washer arrangement??

Nut, washer and isolator. You don't have to isolate them IIRC, but that will make the heatsink live. I do isolate them as I like to make sure everything is as safe as humanly possible

MC, but fit the switch etc coz it's a ball ache digging all the guts out just to fit two LEDs later. I can send some yellows if you want them

Orange is better than yellow, you can't get better than orange. You dropped on there if you ask me.
LED order from worst to best:
Blue - Green - Red - Yellow - Orange.
