Well, something I hadn't thought of before but I have an old valve guitar head amp, a Sound City 120 from about 1974 I think. I haven't switched it on for about 30 years but still have it.
I'm sort of intending to sell it one day but it will need a service beforehand etc. Anyway I was looking at ebay to see how much these things go for and 1 listing says it has 5 ECC83s in it as part of the valve complement.😮
I never knew what valves etc it had in it so I might have to investigate in the coming days to see what its got in there (croses fingers!) and if they are interesting or a pile of shite, lol. 😀

Yeah, the EL84s I can see are Mullards by the look of it, the smaller ones are hidden away though and have shields on them. Probably Mullards too I guess. Ill have to open it up and see sometime this week.

Do you think you could put together a guide to valve options in the BB3? I’m easily confused. For instance I hadn’t realised the in V2 that the 6N2P-EV could be swapped out for an ECC83. Got a few incoming (and just discovered I’ve got an ECC83 laying around!), so be good to know definitively what can be and what can’t be used. Cheers.. happy to give you something to do..!

So the guy I bought my Télé ECC83 from has only gone and posted it to someone else! Muppet.... Lol....jeez, can't believe that! Well, you will never believe this... He got it back, and then sent it to my registered eBay address rather than my requested delivery address. One of my accounts is registered at my parents house in the UK. He tells me it is my fault, so I politely sent him a screen shot of the eBay order details, which shoes that he is clearly a Muppet. I won't be using him again, even if he has good, cheap valves.
