Doesn't really matter, I think those are maximum ratings, they could be current for a certain brightness.
You've got the wrong heatsink on the 7805 regulator, it needs to be the chunky one.

Well you're sort of half right as I don't have the 7805 yet....... I'll leave you to work out the rest It'd all gone so well before that schoolboy error lol.
I'll be back......

I did do some metalwork bodging so I now have a case with on/off switch, fuse holder, mains input and then a grommet waiting for the umbilical up to the phono stage...

Must say, I still thoroughly enjoy listening to Vinyl through it and, just being 100% honest.....I nearly sold my Vinyl playback system when I didnt have one in. Listening now and it's well worth dropping in some Clarity Caps too. I will upgrade these for the big boys when funds allow.

Thanks Oli, it's a 6 way multipole aviation connector so will facilitate the power connections plus an earth from my "offboard psu".

Looking excellent Scotty. Looking forward to your extensive review, you know, like Oli does that takes up a page and half.

Looking excellent Scotty. Looking forward to your extensive review, you know, like Oli does that takes up a page and half. Needs Clarity caps and a pair of fully matched fet boards before any final conclusions should be drawn. But if its Sh#t after that then I'll accept the comments lol

I bought the "cheap" Mundorfs to get it going but if I feel the need it'll most likely be Mundorf Supreme EVO, Jantzen Silver Z or Audyn KP SN

I've just had a quote of around £50 for an EI They are supposed to be cheaper lol Belt and braces I know, but may as well ask them to add a copper flux band to it Oli? £50 is a pretty average quote for a one off custom like that. Don't forget I got the one for you at sort of mate's rates from the manufacturer as I've been dealing with them for years. They have to work out the windings and produce them onto a suitable former and core before testing and packing. There's a few quids worth of copper in them too as well as the time and tooling cost. Off the shelf ones are made in bulk so quite a bit cheaper.
