I have a relatively large single garage.
It is roughly 7m long, 5m wide and about 5.5m high at the ridge of the sloping roof.
I want some speakers to play music that sounds good enough to warrant purchasing them.
The will probably be driven by an Arcam Alpha 8R, 8P or 10P. It they are efficient enough, I can use a Kenwood KA-3020SE.
Any suggestions for something cheap (second hand) that will be up to filling the space?

Knock together some open baffles using good car coaxial speakers, hang em high up close the wall at the slope, cheap as chips, probably sound as good as anything.

How cheap is cheap?
A pair of JPW Sonatas would do surprisingly well and they're dirt cheap - Ive used a pair of these in my 9.5x7.5m lounge so I know they'll work
Q acoustics are good and cheap new
Old multi-driver Missions dont sound too bad
B&W DM602s are pretty good too (I have also heard these in a big room)
