Had one and that is no lie, a 67 Thruxton. Loved it, Sold it when I retired to pay off the house. Went like the clappers and never gave a moments trouble, not easy to ride in traffic because of the clutch. Had it for close on 30 years. Before that I had a 1960 Viper Sport. Carburettor on that is wrong should have the Amal GP. Bugger had no Idle, I am sure it runs better on that Carb. Colour is wrong should be blue and silver. But they do look good in black. Rear Shocks are wrong. I love Velos. If you PM me your E/mail I will send you the magazine article on mine. I live at a high altitude had to run it on AV Gass. |

In about 4 year's time. If we're fit and healthy. The main house is gonna be sold and we're gonna live in the mad on one of these. We'll keep the tiny cottage as s bolthole. 2hy fucking not ? Been a dream all my life. We can go to nav classes at the nearby town technical college. Might not ne as tasty add this but you can get a beauty for Under 200k. Live off the Pensions and chill the F#ck out for 5 years. Might even nip round the corner and see ginger bollox. .  best free image hosting. |

I always wanted a Scalextric. Specifically, one featuring a police Mini and a white Jaguar. It was on the cover of a Scalextric catalogue back when I was 11 or 12. Unfortunately we were very poor, so it was not to be.

I had a mate who was obsessed with Scalextric. He had the lot & more, all the way back to the 1950's.. No just the commercial bog standard stuff he was also into specialist bodies & DIY Chassis.. I forget the name of those specialist clear moulded car bodies you used to paint the underside that gave you a perfect finish from the top.. You could mod pretty much any 1/32nd scale car
