Seriously long day today, fine tuning another power supply, worked out a fault on an expensive dac, repaired a pair of Belcanto monoblocks that had power surge. Just time to bring a Rockna dac to met its new internals lol Then time for an ice cold Westons Vintage and South Indian Gralick Chilli Chicken & sag-dhall

Gym, cleaned the kitchen floor, did 360 surfboard renders and some composting in photoshop then built an interactive viewer for a client website and added 20 new products to the compare tool I've been building out for the day job website. Might have a pint later. Scroll do to the 3d viewer, take a few seconds to load. www.eleveightkites.com/kites/rs-v6#3dview

Yes it works, very clever. We need this for hi-fi product websites too.

<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> A classic margarita. Generally, the uglier the pizza the better it tastes. That looks like it was thrown together by a four year old with ADHD, while mum was out of the room, so probably delicious. I could just go a nice pizza right now, but today is Sunday, so it's Chinese takeaway, as is our tradition.

I'm ambivalent about it really. I like dossing about doing nothing. But having an income again will free up a large amount of money to spend on equipment! Plus I can stop having to look at the price of things in the supermarket and just get whatever I want. Freedom for some commitment....makes sense. Interesting to see what you end up buying 🤣 I predict a pair of Kii Threes in Martin's future That might just be the shortest ever retirement that didn't end in demise! good luck with the job mate, though you sound ambivalent about it...

yes, although it's commercial vehicle leasing - vans, trucks, tractor units, that sort of thing. They don't do cars.

Yesterday myself and goodlady did watch a film at a rather hallowed place for film makering here in the UK. For those that are not aware Pinewood Studios has a public cinema. Quite something to be among the legendary stages and atmosphere. yesterday we went to see Good Luck to you Leo Grande with Emma Thompson. Great fil and superb setting its one of those places that worth the effort to experinace!

A lot of history there, must have been wonderful. I mean besides everything else it's the home of Bond!

Today I fitted my heat pump to my swimming pool. No more cold water swimming for me. How the other half live Electricity is still relatively cheap here, and I have made HiFi purchase sacrifices to buy the heat pump (I bought a 2nd hand Pre90 instead of a Benchmark). Apparently it is only 26 degrees outside, and the pool is at 27 degrees, which should be nice for a dip later.

Might be wise to see the lay of the land for a few weeks before taking delivery of some Kii speakers 😉 Yes, need to get my feet under the table first. Although not really going to splurge on anything like Kii3. I'm just after some classic JBLs for the TV system. Probably L100 'Century.' Might see if I can get the matching Krell pre-amp for the KSA50S too.

A lot of history there, must have been wonderful. I mean besides everything else it's the home of Bond! Hi Martin
Give the fact we only live 6 miles away it didn't even registar on my radar The last time I visited the place was a security job for a 'b' grade star back in 2000 the place was a 1/3 of the size and the old entrance gate was being used They were building another 30K square foot sound stage for TV & Film right opposite the John Bary Threate, just before the new main entrance is a massive studio lot on the left The Roger Moore Stage its huge!
Also security is amazing tight, but its a superb place and you can feel the history ozzing out of every building, small intinate coffee shop but fair prices and the entrance fee is actually more reasonable that our local art house cinema.
They only show films on the weekends due to filming in the wee k and not every weekend, but if you get the chance its really worth the effort.
Throughly recommended.

I believe they are one of the biggest for filming any where in Europe.
Not seen them though, going to oraganise a studio tour for Anne as a Birthday present so we may get to see them then.

Although I was wandering around Newcastle yesterday (not the Geordie one) and it was amazing how many shops had 'Staff Required' notices up. So I think it's just how things are at the moment, employers are desperate to fill vacancies.
