I’m usually an avid fan, but this years crop just aren’t making me want to watch. I won’t even be watching “it takes two” as I normally do because they have landed Zoe Ball with an incredibly annoying set of false teeth masquerading as a plastic dummy.  upload image online |

I can't think of another word for him.
I watch it normally but like Westie I can't be arsed this time.
I think I'm probably getting old and miserable cos I don't consider most of them to be worthy of the celebrity description.
It should be done for trades description when parts that just take selfies of themselves and talk like chavs can be called celebrities.
I might bang one out to Nadiya though. Just out of politeness. 🤪

I agree about the contestants too. They’ve already trawled any remotely famous person who is still young enough to cope without a Zimmer frame, so now they are just grabbing anything that’s popping up on Facebook or twitter seeking attention.

I've never watched it, but every year Mrs H says 'I'm not watching it this year; I've only heard of a couple of the contestants, the voting's clearly rigged etc etc.' A couple of weeks later, her willpower gives in, and she's hooked until the final.

I either watch to see the people I hate get kicked off, or see the ones I like develop. Last year I really liked watching Stacey. Previous years I liked watching the likes of Caroline Flack and Susannah Reid do well. Plus there was always entertainment in the form of an Ed Balls or Ann Widdecombe. This year I couldn’t give a shite about any of them. That whiney wee bloke who keeps harping on about his disability just makes me want to turn off. Sadly, it will run its course on our tv cos my wife will watch it. I’ve never wished more for a decent pair of headphones lol.
Still, she hates Rylan Clark-Dentures more than I do, so there will be no “It Takes Two”.

He was quite funny on that. We have a nice big house, with two hifis, so it's easy to escape the Strictly menace. The only time I saw any of it was in a holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire last year, but even then the bedroom had shedloads of books, so I sneaked off up there after the first dance. |

My missus watches it still , although it's wearing thin now.
I got a bit sick of the trained dancer thing. Where a so called celeb was a graduate of the royal ballet school or summat.
Let's just have famous twats on it who have two left feet ffs.
Then they can develop a bit .
