Oh yes!!! I'll have some of this!!
I really loved the 'Hogwash' album that preceded it.
'Split' is probably my favourite

Catalogue number 5C is Netherlands.. ie: 1C=Germany, 2C = France etc.. Odd, it came from a record shop in Romford, probably about 40 years ago.

Not among his best but the title track is a beaut , although it's even better on the live 'Stage' . .

In the late 80's , Jill decided to pick up all the different Crown wallpaper sleeves to Do It Yourself. Which is a cracking LP but always to be in the shadow of the outstanding Boots n panties. She gave up when she found out that someone had 32 of them ! Dug the other 4 of these out of the attic yesterday. .

I've been back to this many times since I was a teen to force myself to like it. But it still sound like sheer drudgery. I like other crimson albums more than this to be honest. I'd rather have Discipline. Unfortunately I always find Greg Lake's vocals dead poor and strained ...more boring than watching girders rust. Sorry prof scruffs . .

I've got all their albums up to and including 'Siren'. It just seemed weird seeing their first album with a Polydor label.

I do not own a single Dr Hook LP or digital album. What's a standout track I could sample?

If you're a Velvets fan you might want to hunt this down. Is wilder and more avant gard and more dangerous than the official release. European Son in particular will blow you away. They were so far out there that the record company must have shat its pants. The official is a weakling up to this. I'll show the rear sleeve.... save me explaining. . . . .

I'm afraid that the incorrect use of the apostrophe in the word its prevents me from buying this.

Oh yeah. I never noticed. F#ck it then , you're right! Mind you , it might have been a yank wot wrote it ? That's no excuse. They have the same rule as we do regarding apostrophes in the word its. An apostrophe is only appropriate in the abbreviated form of it is. And while we're about it, anyone using loose when they mean lose should be taken out and shot.

Agreed. Or we could beat them to death with people who say " nucular weapons" . Which includes the president of the United States. Yes , the man with his finger on the button can't even pronounce the bloody things!
