Pics please so we can talk labels , sleeves , editions etc Now's your chance to show off your Quarrymen acetates . The missus set me the task of playing every record in the house so she can say she's heard them all. I've got a top missus I have ! ๐งก๐๐ Plus , I just loikes looking at peoples rekkids. It gives me ideas for my Christmas wish list. So seeing as its gonna be all of them over 50 years . there's going to be some real shoite among the gems. And I'm not going all alphabetical. 25 NIN albums (hers) on the trot is no good for anyone's health. . . First though... The Fall...the best band in the world ever.

Can't help it. Using the 'Wife throws a dice and says left or right' method of record selection. I agree though but BSS is still a good un. Anyway , Andre ... what's your favourite Fall rekkid ?

Funny cos it was their fourth album spoiled by 'Rhapsody' where as Led Zep 4 was spolied by 'Stairway' Not that i ever liked Zep As a side note you mentioned labels. The first three Queen albums had a tiny black Trident Logo om the label.

Remember this , Andre ? Bloody brilliant ! They were about to go nuclear ! Terrific live . Followed the buggers all around the norf of England. The Blackpool empress ballroom gig was one of the best I've every Been to. Right after 7 nation army. There was a side stage along the long wall of the ballroom. For the encore they both sneaked onto itfrom the back and played an hour acoustic. So the crushed mob at the front was now instantly at the back ! A top man, Mr J White. Analogue freak for ever.

Ere...me n Andre Pandre's favourite film ever ! A gift from the Gods ! . My life would have turned out differently if I hadn't sneaked in to see this. I bought white pants and shirt with black airware. We wouldn't have had Ziggy Srardust for starters.

One of the best debut albums of all time. The second album is a cracker aswell but you could hear the yank influence creeping in. Pretty in pink was used in the film and a big AmeriC#nt contract beckoned. Out went the originality and in came the pop. Bt the third they had become totally corrupted by Yankism and it was all bland radio shite. A great group gone to the car radio wasteland.

No. I use them both when we're on a cssual listening sesh. No reason except convenience. Im lucky in that my missus is music freak aswell. I can then just get two records out at once sort of thing. If it's serious stuff then the gyro always wins out. The SL is a fine sounding machine without a doubt no matter what some people might say but it's not a match for the gyro. . Pure coincidence this next one. The luck of the dice. .

Aye thats an early pressing Lotta good stuff was recorded at Trident. They were more advanced studio than Abbey road back then. I think they were the first studio to have a 16 track multi track machine installed, The Beatles has to go use the studio.. Van Der Graaf Generators "After The Flood" track from thur 'Least We Can Do' was recorded on dat 16 trackker
