I just find it fucking hilarious.
Every time Audio Note attends those shows. They always bring along the cello player- Vincent Belanger.
In the (same) room, Vincent plays his cello for a few minutes and afterwards they play his CD/Vinyl through a uber expensive AN system. This comparison has been going on for a few years now.
I've read many comments saying Vincent's cello sounds way better than the overly expensive Audio Note system reproducing it. Regardless of room! Are they just jealous and coping, or telling the truth?
What are your thoughts?

Any decent system should be able to give a fairly life-like representation of a solo cello. Presumably the recording is just him playing solo?
The people saying it sounds nothing like it would probably struggle if both he and the system were hidden and they had to guess which was which. They could fool audiences like that in the 1950s - and they did - so shouldn't be too much trouble nowadays with a modern digital recording.
