Always been attracted to these for the retro look & the what seems to be high grade quality fascia & knobs.. I have not got the faintest idea what they sound like & always kinda tried avoiding tubes. Sadly i have an aversion to Gold finish, i recon they would be loverly is a fine brush satin silver finish. MADE IN JAPAN too. lebenhifi.com/products/cs300xs.html |

I honestly don't know whether I like them or not. I guess they look good in the appropriately furnished room. Never heard one though.

Very high quality Japanese gear has always been expensive, You just know the mass produced low priced Sh#t that flooded the market over the years. Proper Jap gear were very few & far between in the UK. |

I've heard a Leben, it was very good. And I'm not that keen on valve amps as a rule.
You can get them second hand for fairly sane money.

IMO another product that has a reputation based on the must have wow factor.
I had a 600 on loan for a weekend, and on my system my Line Magnetic bettered it. At a fraction of the price.

I am still tempted with the idea of an SET amp, to this date, after numerous try outs with different ones, I just did not like them, nevertheless the temptation still lingers.
A lot of times, I just do not get what all the fuss is about
