A couple of things that Audio enthusiast needs to take note of
1. Forget about what other people have & what they cost
2. You do not have to keep up with the Jones
3. No matter if it is cheap, If it sounds good, its good enough
4. Snake Oil is snake oil.
5. Take no notice what so ever to any Reviews
1+2 are very dangerous, They do all sorts of strange things to peoples mental behaviour. Could also be seen as Peer Pressure

Have to agree with you Andre.
To clarify point 5, we all have two of the best reviewers on the planet on call night and day, they are permanently attached to the side of your head, learn to trust them and them alone.

How many people do you think just buy Accesories ike Cones co they basically look good to them & make the system look as though they are really into their

Anyway, here's my 'top tip':
Once you're happy with how your system sounds, stop reading hi-fi mags and forums. Ideally, get yourself banned from the latter to avoid temptation.

I would agree with the majority with some exceptions below 1. Forget about what other people have & what they cost Agree, it doesn't matter what someone else has.2. Snake Oil is snake oil. Depends on what it is, a lot of people would say that the supports or cables I use are snake oil. I couldn't care less about that, they make a difference as far as I am concerned!5. Take no notice what so ever to any Reviews It is my opinion that reviews are helpful as a guide, nothing more. Your ears are the most important reviewer. |
