Be looking for such a player but the important factors are Simplicity & looking good without having to apply Skins to make em look fancy
Another important factor is Gap less playback!
As a temporary measure im using Pot Player, very simplistic layout.

I use Roon with Tidal, also have a large collection of FLAC on a NAS. Works well IMO.

This is one of the reasons why CD is still a superior option...There's none of this cocking about just to listen to some music without any additional aggravation.
Okay so you have to find the 'files' manually. But I don't see that as such a great hardship. I've been doing it all my life.

CD are not superior. Yeh finding a file is quicker than getting a CD from a box. lol

Using one at the mo called AIMP, sounds good & dead easy to use.. I do not seem to be having the small issues i had with others..
