I’m smiling at the thought that in the Far East it may be pronounced correctly? as “triple clown”.
£55k is bedsit money, not cable money. When there are folk sleeping on the streets, it’s offensive that buyer and seller exist.

Whenever I see mega overpriced Hi-Fi like that. I sometimes wish for World War III to happen. Makes my blood fucking boil.

It's still not our business how people spend their own hard earned. Of course it seems offensive to us that cannot afford it, but rich people throw their money around on some utter tripe if the tv programme I watched was true. At least the money is going back into circulation.

At least the money is going back into circulation. Governments have usually made it public business via taxation. I guess VAT is as close as it gets for hifi, but if you think of the duty on booze and cigarettes, it is a means of intervening in how people spend. Good point about money circulating though.

Not going back into circulation if its going to China! However there is a lot more to buying a product than meets the eye with a lot of people. Cost, Brand & Model numbers far exceed the Sound requirments.

Sir James Dyson has recently purchased two properties in Hong Kong for in the region of £150 million. The uk Government ain't getting so much out of him anymore and £55k would be a spit in ocean to his bank balance.

At least the money is going back into circulation. I know wealthy people and they generally seem pretty sensible with their money. They live well without flaunting it. There again, they are Engish and have a natural restraint, unlike some of the richer Indians and middle easterners I see around London. I mean, a gold wrapped Bentley or McLaren isn't exactly subtle.
