They are building a new estate opposite me and they are all built with that sort of stuff, the brick skin is just for show. The 2 bed versions are £135,000 (this is to live in the ghetto with a six lane highway a stone's throw away) and are smaller than my 2 bed house (one of which you can pick up for less than £75K). I don't know who's buying these things but they must be crackers. “It’s a mug’s game” never felt so apt. Largely young and inexperienced buyers with no real clue.

I confirm Townshend speaker bars work on both suspended and solid floors. These were purchased just before the platforms came out, I guess they are easier to use though.

I've seen quite few people say they sorted problems with sound transmitting to the flat below. Otherwise it's the usual 'tightened up the bass' etc. But speakers are like turntables, pretty much anything you do to them or with them will change the sound in some way.

I just wondered because the last thing a wobbly speaker will give is tighter bass. Less cabinet vibration if the stand is damped, quite possibly. Audible....mmmm

Nope. I just can't do it. I need to hear a pair first because opinions are so varied on them that I just can't do it. Yes, I won't lose on them etc but no spare cash at the minute either. Still paying of the VAT on the 686 lmao

Ime tannoys benefit from a little softness in the rest of the kit, or listening off axis. They wouldn't be a go to for me and ruthlessly revealing ss.
I preferred my 12dmt with my Ear 509s than the 200 watt muse lump

I have never heard any at all so it would be beneficial, if only to me lol

They are killer especially at the price. Was at a bake off where they were for sale (demo version). I would have snapped them up only carting them home would have been an issue.
Another attendee bought them instead.

Yep, I knew the other day when Gaz announced his H2 that he'd probably put them up for sale. Unfortunately, I I just haven't got the cash.
We also had a little bit of news this week that means all spending is on hold for now so I can't even borrow a bit to brigmdge the gap.
It's a PITA as I'd love them but needs must.
