Recently brought a mint condition pair of Sonus faber concertos they look like a million dollars and I’m hooked on the sound I’ll admit there not the last word in base but for me they just sing had a 7 hour round trip to buy them last Sunday for quiet a few penny’s, but the seller threw in a set of also mint musicwave cables, so a successful journey

His were Electas. He really disliked them but they sounded really promising to me, he gave them far too little space behind, which limited them. I’d have loved to have bought them but he wanted top dollar and it was years ago when I was skint, never seen another pair locally.

NEXTEL?
Warm leatherette my dear chap - warm leatherette
There were different versions but both were excellent I remember. The first issue were bi-wirable and in my experience, these MUST be placed on very high stands close to a back wall so the tweeter is at least ear level or fractionally above. The Home version was single wired and maybe not as height-critical. The matching stands were perfect for them, the adjustable ones especially as you could lift the base by three inches or so. The speakers used to screw to them with a pair of bespoke thumb-screws, Prejudice prevented me in the early days, but when I moved to a dealer that stocked and sold the smaller models and once I looked inside, I rapidly changed my mind here Hope you enjoy these...
