I think that from mid October, panic buying will set in prior to the 31st deadline. Have you considered this? It will happen and people won't know what there is likely to be a shortage of, so they'll be grabbing everything.
I have already stocked up on basic essentials like toilet paper, dog food, frozen food, pasta, rice, tinned veg and so on.
There are one or two items I have yet to get, but none will go to waste, it'll just take longer to use up.
Fuel supplies could well be an issue, but I have that covered for a few months if I'm careful.
Time to get organised!

I dunno, is it really going to be as bad as the project Fear people are saying? You never know, if Boris and team stand firm, 'Brussells' may cave in yet now, as they still want to do good business with us and the fact that pushover May and team have gone. The European Union do a huge amount of trade with us and honestly, they're not going to want to give up on that so easily. If things really get as bad as you paint, there'll be riots up and down the country I reckon and nobody wants that. Maybe I'm naive, but I trust the team currently in 'power' to get it right now - and nobody wants the current heads of the opposition in number 10 and number 11 - and I'm not anti-labour in any shape or form and loathe our current self serving Tory MP who has such a huge majority (loads of woopies in Suffolk Coastal) she'll not be easily unseated...
Mind you, our chest freezer outside could do with a severe topping-up and a few extra tins wouldn't hurt either...............

The reality is irrelevant, if the muppets think there will be shortages, they'll panic buy them into existence. A couple of headlines in the Daily Heil and the Sun will convince enough people to go and stock up, and low and behold, there WILL be shortages, cos they've bought the shop.
I hope geoff has an independent supply of gas cos power and fuel problems could wreck all your self-sufficiency plans if you can't cook stuff.

You see panic buying every year on Xmas eve and nowadays the supermarkets are open again on Boxing Day. People are retards, you have to take that into account. Of course all the suppliers will have overstocked as well in anticipation of the panic-buying...

That's why I've taken sensible precautions in advance.

Boris hadn’t got the balls or the commitment to pull it off, He will either backtrack or get ousted before then.

Most of the alleged issue with a no deal are just scaremongering. Especially telling people they won't be able to get their medication, which I think is despicable, but then that just shows you the sort of people that we're dealing with - Overgrown middle-class children who've never had to spend a day in their lives.
I'd rather we kept the immigrants here and fucked them off somewhere else instead. They all hate this country and its people anyway. The only reason they won't leave is because all their money, flash houses and cushy public sector jobs are here.

You really think the EU will cave in? Show everybody they are a soft touch? I think not...

You make it sound like No-Deal is a choice. It'll happen by default unless a collection of 300 pricks who've shown themselves far more interested in their re-selection than the country can agree on something they've totally failed to agree on for the last 3 years.

if Boris backs down then he will have to ask for a further extension which would then need to be approved by all the remaining EU members, as happened back in March.
If he doesn't ask for an extension or he asks and is refused then we are out on 31st October regardless. Amazing how many people still don't seem to realize this. It has nothing to do with our Parliament or what they vote for.
