Just bought a few speaker spares from this seller. He sells a good range of stuff inc drivers. He’s cheaper than EBay on the things I bought and he takes PayPal. Just thought I’d share: willys-hifi.com/

Used to be on eBay. Had a detailed account of his Monacor replacement for the B110 in JR 149s.
Had a look earlier and it seems he's given that up.

Falcon are re-manufacturing the B110 now so maybe not necessary?

I doubt you get one for £35. When he was on eBay he said that the Monacor item performed better the original B110 unit having replaced them in JR 149s and 150s and describes it as "superior" here. I can imagine the Falcon item probably bettering the original. Whether it would be as good/better than the Monacor alternative, you'd have to try to find out.

The Monacor may well be better... The B110 in its later years and certainly as made now judging by the Falcon LS3/5A measurements in Stereophile, has a peak at 1.5kHz or so followed by a dip and then the main upper resonance at 5khz which no crossover fully hides I gather. The 1.5khz peak got worse quickly in the mid 80's and I remember it ruined the Kan, 'isobarik and all the 3/5A's of this time as well. Interestingly, the Falcon as measured in Stereophile seem as bad as these 1985 models, yet this is what current owners love about them, so neutrality be damned...
