I've got one as well which I had as a xmas pressie from the missus.
Sounds very detailed and sweet even with the stock valves in. Added a more powerful power supply and some better quality valves and it has become even better still.

They could do it even cheaper as the valves are there for show mainly I reckon. Just one well supplied stereo op-amp or two single ones and you're done! There's already an op amp around the volume pot, but don't know if it's in the audio path or the valve power supply.

There's ones that sell in the West - Shanling, Meixing Mingda, Caying and Line Magnetic.
As long as the West wants cheap electronic goods, China will happily supply them. Why else does the Government sponsor postage to the West? As long as the West can exploit a low paid work force, they will continue to do so.

I was kindly leant one of these pre's by nonuffin to try while my P90sa was returned for an upgrade. Unfortunately a problem with the power amp has curtailed the trial although I did get to listen to a couple of tracks. All I'll say is for £20 these are a bloody bargain.
