sorry but i can only recomend 2 things in my 30 years of box swapping acoustic energy ae109's and vdh cs122 speaker cable. nothing else i would say was brilliant..

CD5i was poor to my ears. The mk2 was apparently a different player. I also found CD5x really boring, despite the insistence of the guy in the shop that it was better than my CDI.
